At this point, I'd say it's about the same. Probably goes longer in between CCV changes, but Valvetronic adds more complexity. The sensor just has to be changed when it goes out. It'll cause stumbling issues and/or limp mode like a bad DISA.

Don't have much experience with the 4.8.
