I'm not trying to unfairly knock it; but one person that just used it as a build doesn't mean a whole lot unless he's got extensive use with it in the form of extensive firing (several thousands of rounds overall, 500+ rounds in a day, etc etc) and extended use and abuse, with constant monitoring and confirmation of integrity and durability of the component.
My point is that you're dealing with a company that does not have a reputation. You can buy a BCM or Noveske lower and know you're getting a great lower, because they're companies that are a known product. When you deal with a company like this Code Red, what do you know about their company? Their QC and QA procedures? What grade of components do they use? Who supplies their forgings? Do they farm out, or do they do their own finishing machining? If they do their own machining, when do they change their dies?
Just something to think about. Since the rise of AR popularity a couple years ago, there's been a constant stream of new manufacturers popping up everywhere trying to get in on it. 90% of them get their parts from the same place, and many of them will settle for sub-optimal components to meet production demands. To be perfectly honest, more than half of the AR manufacturers that exist do not deserve to exist. There are a lot of people with machining experience or that just like guns that have jumped on the AR bandwagon to make a name for themselves. Many are jokes. The only reason why I like these companies that pop up out of nowhere is that they distract unsuspecting buyers who are looking for the next great thing, and that way it makes the wait time less for people like me who want to buy components from top end companies.

Is Code Red one of these companies? I don't know....and that's what concerns me. The fact that there is so little information offered on their website is a red flag.
All just food for thought when evaluating this purchase. Some companies do come out and surprise people by being good companies. However, those companies are very open and do their work to build their reputation. There are a couple brands that I would gladly shoot that few have heard of, but these companies have established a reputation through their own hard ethical work and dedication to quality. I am always just leery of new companies that pop up that don't offer up this information, and thus they are an unknown variable.
