I have not had a chance to determine how low the temp is before the gauge shows 12 o'clock, I just need a cold start and bring up the OBC display and watch when the gauge is dead center, however, I believe around 75C is probably the correct number.
Again, if you get thermostat codes, other than the heater element open, you have likely had issue for a LONG while.
This is the only time of year you can reliably determine if your stat is soft for most of us, at least in the Northern Hemisphere above the 30th parallel!
