I think the twitching was caused by the rebuilt brake caliper. The FCABs aren't likely to cause the sudden twitch and thump noise, especially when stopped. And the pulling is probably because of the rebuilt brake caliper as well.

I guess the grease I used for the piston when rebuilding the caliper wasn't good and messed with the how it operates. That's what I believe is causing the piston to suddenly move instead of pressing and retracting smoothly.

It seems it's a coincidence that the FCABs are out, they might have been out for a while now but this problem led me to checking them. The way they look though is strange, looks like the rubber on them has melted.

I'm still working on everything and I'll try to keep updating.
