Just to help with some perspective.

Orion V2 were originally built with white boxes to allow for proper regulation of power to the rings for maximum lifespan over 4 years ago.
Back then, some companies claimed their units didn't need these boxes (one of the companies was who we use now for Orion lite products). Over time, they understood their mistake in design and introduced the power regulation boxes now common in almost every single LED kit.

The OP has Orion Lite 60 LED rings. The little silver boxes rarely "fail" due to stress, but they are not water proof like our Orion v2, so based on your description of how it happened, water probably got in there and fried the circuitry. Please email us your name and information.
