It DOES take quite a bit of experience and skill, which most of us here don't have. My buddy used to take small dents out of my cars, but he knew what he was doing. He used to do this very work at a Ford truck plant in Edison, NJ. The trucks would often get little dents during the build. He was one of the last stops on the line to take 'em out. He made it look kind of easy, but it's not.

It would be a great skill to have, but certainly not worth the investment in tools, time and junkyard panels to justify fixing only a dent or 2. Shell out the bux to the pros and enjoy your car.
