i can't imagine it would be any different. I deff. don't think you need to remove the trans the only reason you would remove the exhaust and drive shaft would be if you were replacing the selector rod, like if you got the UUC SSK or something like that, otherwise do as i did and it shouldn't take you more than an hour if you move really slow!
