I bought a counter top/plug-in skillet from some department store (Belk, JC Penny, Macys) about 4 months ago. This sucker still looks brand new and I use it atleast 2-3 times a week I can cook an entire pound of bacon on it all at once. It also makes it super easy to make eggs and philly cheese steaks.
If you eat a lot of frozen pizza, like me, invest in a "Pizza Stone" it's super easy to clean and nothing ever sticks to it. (It's basically a round pan for your oven made of stone)
