I'll be the adult here. If your parents are paying for your insurance, you had better ask them whether or not THEY have any objections to your purchasing an M3. I can tell you from experience that young men can be exorbitantly expensive to insure when they are being insured to drive a high performance car. The insurance for my 20 year old son costs more than my insurance, my wife's insurance, and our 2 daughters' insurance COMBINED. And that's to drive a C class Mercedes.
