I did 50 reps of 225 lb. squats yesterday, and I swear that it kicked my ass more than my normal heavy squat routine. Maybe because the emphasis was endurance rather than brute strength.

....then 50 Power Cleans, 50 Chin-ups, and 40 Kettlebell swings with a 44 lb. KB. I am wrecked today!
