| Very nice young sir.
The one question I like to ask first thing is WHY do you want to lower your car?
If you just want looks then there is no reason to get anything more than lowering springs.
If you want looks and a bit of adjustablity then get a budget set of coils like Bilsteins, GC, etc. These won't break the bank and will give you the lower look you want and some rebound/compression adjustments plus right hide adjustibility.
If you are looking for something a bit more track oriented but not a full blown race damper then look into something like TC Kline or KW. Do to better build quality these will tend to ride better than the average budget coilover suspension.
Finally, if you are looking for a full blown race suspension then you have MCS, Ohlins, & Intrax. I wouldn't recommend JRZ to anyone, from some repuitable people I hear that they cut a few corners to get to the market and build quality and durability have suffered. I would say no to Motons as well, unless you can get an old set like I did and have them re-biult. Now that AST owns Moton, the customers service just isn't there.
That's how I respond to the question. It all depends on what they want. If you ask me, "how should I lower my car"? Imma say MCS 2-Ways and be done with it. Yeah the are serious $$$ but you get what you pay for. You can make them do what ever you want. Go lower, yes. Ride better than stock, yes. Infinite adjustability, yes. Build quality, fvck yes. Out perform almost everything out there, absolutely.
The first thing that is wrong is that it is a 6-speed, I have to have a SMG. With that mods that car has though that for sure is an awesome price. If it were an SMG I would buy that car, part it out, and spend the money on parts I want. I just seem to be real picky, I've done so much research and trial and error with these cars that I really want a blank canvas to do it right the first time this go around.
Here is the car I would like to buy. Dude accepted my offer of 20k. Ignore the caliper covers. he has all records sense day 1, oil changes ever 5k, and sub 60k miles.
