Having never used a Nordic trak I can't really comment, but it uses the same type of resistance as the concept 2 rowers.
It's basically the exact opposite movement of the rower though which I like since the rower is great for conditioning but kills your lower body which doesn't really work with wanting to squat and Olympic lift alot. I see this (so far at least) as being a good way to get some conditioning without interfering with my lifting.
No leg movement like a Nordic trak though.
