If you eat that much red meat, then you are getting a good source of Creatine. Fish also has Creatine in it. The only thing is that when it starts to store, it creates an "energy" for your muscles, so you eventually wear off that energy, so that's why people supplement with Creatine before a workout, so they know that its production is being used at that particular time.
Creatine also stores in other places of the body as well. If you supplement with it before a workout, you know you are getting the correct amount that you may need to get your muscles contracting whereas if you eat 1/2 lb. of red meat before a workout, it can be hard to tell what amount of Creatine you're actually getting.
