I just fixed the issue: the 3-pin cable was in the wrong connector and the 6-pin wasn't even plugged in at all. I didn't realized that there was a second wrapped-up packaging of cables by the CD changer and there I found the proper 3-pin cable and the 6-pin to hook it up properly. Problem solved.
