Is it wrong to be skeptical of that person's motivations, given their group's disproportionate amount of crime and that person's seemingly uneducated language? Or is it incumbent on that person to assume the best and interpret it as a simple compliment on their sartorial decisions that day?
i think that depends on whether this happened in broad daylight or not
