Are you just being sarcastic here? I hope so. Regardless of what it says on the police car, they are NOT obligated to protect you or your family. It went to the supreme court

US Supreme Court decision in Warren v. District of Columbia in 1981, the police do not have the duty to provide protection and services to individuals except under specific assignments
