The guys running the 255's in the front are you doing city driving as in potholes, off inclined driveways, etc or tracking your car so you really compress the nose to see if it rubs. I put the 255's on the front and its a snug fit on the inside. Also the steering feels a good bit heavier.

Thoughts? I run a stock ZHP suspension other than an ECS Tuning Strut Bar and have no plans to go coils, etc.

I had different brand tires when I was moving over from Bridgestones to the latest Michelin Pro(?) Sports which was temporary. I just gained much more grip with the Michelins.
I have been running the 255/35's on 8.5x18 ZHP wheels on the front since 2007 with no problems whatsoever. The front bites very well with no noticeable heaviness at all. Look at my garage and you will see Koni FSD's for much better ride and the biggest Hotchkis bars to keep it flat in the corners. The pair of strut bars keeps it from doing a body shimmy only at the edge of traction during a track day session - never feel them at any other time.
