Time to replace the Onkyo

I have an Onkyo TXDS575X that's given great service since '01, but it's time to replace it. Nothing is wrong, but I need more power (currently "75" watts RMS 5.1) and possibly a 6 or 7.1 setup. What's a good quality reciever? I used to sell audio many moons ago and HK's were pretty decent, but I remember Denon was a good reciever too. Are they still pretty good? Again, this has been about 4 years since I've looked at home audio. 80% home theater/DVDs, 20% music. Speakers it will be powering/signaling, B&W 602 S2's, polk audio center,Velodyne 10" sub. Will be adding rears later. I'm looking to stay spend around 500-700.00. Thanks to those who can help!
