looks like one of the two methods of ensuring flush fitment of the corners/fenders was not utilized.
1. adjust brackets on the car so that the corners of the bumper are forced to bend in a little more (few millimeters) for that flush look when pushed in and mounted.
2. bolt in the corners of the bumper up into the fenders for flush fitment. my own csl and m3 bumpers were mounted utilizing this method.
