Nonford, great write up. Thanks a lot for the tips. I just replaced my alternator and I have replaced the idler pulley before, so this seems pretty reasonable. One question about the alternator re-install - how did you line up the bolt holes for the bottom "ears" of the alternator? It took me forever to get the holes to finally line up perfect enough to allow the thru bolt threads to take hold when I replaced the alternator........any tips to help speed up this portion of the install. Thanks.
