Depending on the type of insurance you have, windshield replacement maybe covered for free with no deductible. Just call your insurance company and find out! Also, make sure you ask for OEM!

Insurance companies don't want you to be driving around with a cracked windshield as it poses a risk to you and other drivers.

I recently had my windsheild replaced because I had a pretty sizeable chip and over a course of 2 weeks, a crack appeard.
