7-7.5lb pork butt, boston but or picnic shoulder- BONE IN
combine 3 cups of apple cider vinegar, 1 liter of dr. pepper, 4tbsp
black pepper (coarse ground), 2 tbsp cayenne pepper, 2 tbsp sea salt.
quarter an onion (I use large white) and put two of the quarters in
the bottom of the crockpot.
put roast in crock pot, put other two onion quarters on the sides-
pour almost all of the mixture over the roast.. cook on low for 12
hours, turning the roast over about halfway through and dump that last
little bit of the mixture on top.
I take some of the onion out, but you can leave it in if you want.
shred with two forks, remember to take the bone out.
