I have to say. This supercharger on a 323i is amazing. It feels like you actually own the road. Pulling away from cars is amazing. I would defiantly recommend installing one on your 323i, but at a price if $5k I would actually get another car, but if the kits were priced at $3k or used it would be well worth it.
My point is. Used Supercharger kits works just as well as a new one even with 30k on it. and a some dirt on the intercooler
