My Ride: Suburban LT 4x4
High strand count is really more important than brand.

Since cost is not that much more for such short runs, I would buy 14 or 12 personally.

The longer the run, the more important the gauge, but for pennies more per foot, you will know that wire is not your weakest link.

Run all speaker wire lengths the same regardless of their placement for best time allignment and volume consistancy.

I ran 14/4 to each of my speakers then double up the conductors.

90% of my HDMI quality argument is based on installation in a high end residence. Rarely, do we run HDMI less than 25 ft and rarely would the cost savings justify us having to re-run an HDMI if we got a bad one. Rarely, do we not have some type of HDMI commuincation handshake issue with some piece of the customer's gear. At $100 per labor hour, the customer really doesnt save enough to justify using a $50 cable instead of a $250 on $25K project. Make sense?
