So i got my car back 1700$ later. The ticking noise has gone away and it seems to be shifting smoother. I had a new thermostat put it but the gauge does the exact same thing and does not get completely 12 oclock. Here's what they did for 1700$, did i get burned?
2.A/C Belt 20$
3.Alternator belt 37$
4.Rear wheel Bearings 76$
5.A/C Belt Tensioner Assembly 85$
6.Alternator Tensioner Assembly 87$
7.BMW Coolant 22$
8.Air Pump 341$
and all oil's changed (44k fuel cleaner, tranny flush, oil filter)
- AND then charged me 867$ for labor. I wish i could do this **** myself!
