hi, i just got 05 330i zhp. i love the stock rims and all but im looking for a different look. from googling i know zhp rims are staggered 8" in the front and 8.5" in the rear. i found a nice set of rims that are 18x8 all around. my question is will i notice a difference in handling since the rear rims will be half an inch narrower?
i kinda like the thought of non-staggered since i can rotate my tires.
also will an offset of 35mm on a rim be ok? or will cause any issues?
Thanks alot, i own/owned many E30 but this is my first E46 so im still learning.
You can run the 18x8 all around but I would go with staggered to fill out the rear. Non staggered wheels will be inset on the rear fender which will look odd.
We can do a set of 18" staggered VMR wheels with tires for you. CSLs are always a clean choice:
wow thats like the same car i have....u read my mind cause those are the same rims im looking for but.... im trying to find them in black with a red outside strip/lip.
Nope, no rubbing issues there. Go with the 18x8.5" or 19x8.5" all around on a ET40 offset or a ET35 offset and you'll be just alright. Here's a few colors we're offering for the CSL style wheels:
Ok, one last question...Would 9" wide rims cause any rubbing in either the front or the rear with a lowered zhp. its got H&R cup kit i believe.
thanks again
