I have a dilemma. I am pushing 2 Memphis Audio 12's with a Memphis amplifier.
My HK 10 speakers are running off the HK Amp in the trunk of course.
The RCA bass inputs to my Memphis amp are being tapped off my 16x9 speakers using a convertor. These 16x9's are also powered off the HK amp.
Am I losing some lower frequency bass due to cuttoff from the HK amp or even the line convertor?
If so, is my best option to run new RCA's directly from the head unit?
I would like to enable the high pass filter on my head unit to limit bass distortion to my door speakers, but the way I am set up now it kills my bass to my 12's.
If I do run new RCA's won't I get alot of alternator whine? And if so how should I prevent it?
Thanks for the input guys. This is a great Forum.
