ZHP looks good - looks how it should look.

The more time I spend on this forum, the more I appreciate a clean, stock/mostly stock E46. It's baffling how quickly these cars are ruined with cheap, tacky, after-market modifications available for these cars.

#5 · (Edited)
Bought my 330 completely stock and very clean. Did lots of little improvements but sold it before I went full retard on it.

Bought an very heavily modded M3. Went full retard on the mods for a daily drivable track car. 90/105 rate springs, solid bushings, recaros, PFC06 pads. Full interior and no cage though.

#12 ·
I'd like to do more mods but really theres a few more things i'd like to do. diff bushings is one of them :/ I'm waiting a while to do that though. i really want to lay off the car stuff for a while. this forum is already a full time job as it is :(

As far as mods.. i want to do a convertible rear sway bar and OE M3 strut brace.. but i need to change my strut mounts first cause the Meyle mounts have bolts that are too short. so that will wait too.

From the wheels to the interior to the engine bay, completely stock. Other than the Bilstein Touring suspension I've kept everything down to the way it was when it left the factory. I bought the car because I loved everything about it (other than the total lack of maintenance) so I figured I'd keep it that way.

#16 · (Edited)
I have kept it pretty modest and focused largely on maintenance, but my car handles better than most slammed e46s you'll see on coil overs:

Bilstein/Eibach B12 Pro Plus Suspension System (Eibach Pro Kit springs, Bilstein sport dampers, Eibach anti-roll kit), with reinforcement front & rear.

Dice Bluetooth Mediabridge

Genuine BMW Auxiliary Input

Hardwired Valentine One

Aftermarket RCR tail lamps & turn signals, Genuine clear side indicators, LED license plate lights and matte black kidney grilles.

M3 Steering Wheel

I'm also running these in my M-Tech I front bumper, color matched of course.

In the future I'd like to pick up a set of spacers and the grocery bag holder for the trunk. Otherwise she's perfect

#17 ·
Almost totally stock currently, I have winter rims and tires on it currently, the stock rims are my summer rims, a DICE kit, and Koni STR.T shocks, but only because I killed the OEM ones at my first trackday. I do intend on making some mods, but nothing to the body outside of maybe clear turn signals up front, and I'm not totally sure on that. I intend on overhauling the entire suspension at some point this year, and there will be aftermarket parts going into that, coilovers, bushings etc. but I don't want a huge drop, in fact if I could get away with no drop I'd be happy, but I do want something adjustable so I can dial it in for track days but still be livable on the street.

Most of those aren't mods, D. that's why i didn't list maintenance items :shhh:

Almost exactly want I want to do/have done to my car.
Installing H&r Sports tomorrow, and I plan on going Bilsteins once my new Zhp struts blow out. Also wanting new lenses for the head lights.
And I have clears all arounds, and Rcr tails.
License plate delete,
Have some ebay headers I'd like to install one of these days.
Besides that pretty much all stock,
I'm focusing on restoring/and Maintenance mostly first.

BTW, the shocks/struts are already "blown" they were about 5 years ago. (if original)

2001 325xi 5 speed - stock. Currently overseas in Europe.

2003 330i auto - clear corners and style 42 wheels. Other than that stock. I didn't feel the need to modify this car anymore. Its's an auto..plus it's great the way it is. Especially the color.

1999 540i auto - stock and love every bit of it. My daily driver. An e39 is such a classic, why change it?

2004 330ci 6 speed - modified. My goal with this car was to make it how I would have wanted it from the factory. Hot cams, lightweight, an LSD...etc. I wanted it done right. If I could, I would have done it all over again. The learning experience was priceless.
