Hi I know this is a minor issue but I've searched the forum and couldn't find the answer. So in trying to clean up my cup holder which is really messed up from the last owner.

How would you advise I remove the weathered down top layer of plastic? And should I use the grey plastidip from Homedepo and would the color match..

that plasti-dip stuff looks cheap on the interior IMO, and the stock is no different. I rough sanded mine all the way down and resprayed some in matching silver to other trim elements. i wasn't satisfied with the glossy plain black plastic though either- too greasy and plain looking. sunglasses and ashtray are left rough with chrome insert intact, lightweight supercar-ish. with the black int. and titanium silver ext. i think it looks more high end euro than crap-bucket *****.
