I'm thinking of changing my wheels for next summer. Right now i have csl replicas from bmautosport UK, but they're just not the real deal. Want either square Zcp's or BBS Ch's with 8.5 et20 fronts. Square Zcp's are killer but then again I don't like neg camber. The offset of the ch's is pretty nice, and with a red centercap, they would match my imola interior. Hmm decisions decisions... :hmm:
What would you go for ?
I'm leaning towards the Ch's... found a Set in Germany with the Offsets I'm looking for 8.5'' et20 10'' et20, new for 1400 Eur.- wich would be 1930.- Usd
I think that four rear Zcp's will cost more, don't know the price though. Anyone knows what they run for overthere ? Here in Switzerland everything is much more pricey.
In terms of looks I think the BBS is a better choice. In terms of wheel quality, I think there is no doubt, it is not even close that the BBS CH is a way better quality wheel. So BBS wins on both.
I would actually consider going with the Sportline CSL style wheels. They're lighter than the OEM ZCP wheels, equally as strong, and they look identical but at a fraction of the price. These wheels have just became a serious competitor in the E46 market because of they're rotary forged construction and they're overall durability due to a powdercoated finish that comes from factory. Here's some more info:
I think just made a good deal on some zcp's, not square tough. Bought them for 1420 Euro so 1930 dollar. They're in mint cond. without any skratches or Bordchips. They're on some Hankook s1 Evo's in 225/40.. 255/35. Are these tires any good ? Going to collect them this Suterday, will take some pics soon.
I will probably try square next summer. I also sold my reps to a local. Couldn't have gone any better.
