i just picked up a 325ci today and i want to order a set of angel eyes tonight...i saw some on ebay for cheap but figured id ask here first. i don't have the xenon's and im looking for a set that glows white, not yellowish-looking. are the ebay ones ok, or is there somewhere else i should order from?
Jlevi has awesome customer service, you will not get that via Ebay. Not only that but you're supporting an E46 sponsor.
If your looking for the "bright white"-look order the 6000k Angel lights.
Cheers!
whats the difference between those and ebay 6000k? i mean, is the extra $140 for the customer service? with something like suspension, wheels, etc, i would not go ebay, but i wouldn't think something as simple as angel eyes wouldnt arrive defective..
umnitza predator chroms are the best. like.. literally. I think they're really as good as it gets. there's plenty of places to order it from since most of our sponsers carry them.
Mine came from ebay for $100 and now I think you can get them cheaper. The only issue with ebay v. sponsor is that when a ballast goes out (and they will) you can go to the sponsor and get a new one. Though, you can also get new ones from vibelights.com for <$5. Now... I'm not gonna order wheels or a bumper from ebay, but they cost a butt-load more than these lil lights.
hey phil skip on ebay, use umnitza. and there is a connector plug where the ballasts connect to the wiring harness, cut that out and hardwire..... a few have caught fire on that connector area fyi
i got mine from umnitza, looks great with 6000k but i wish i got the 8000k istead because the 6000k is just bright bright white.. i short off wanted that hint of blue. but overall im happy
You can get angel eyes on ebay that will serve their purpose but really in terms of quality and lifetime they won't hold a candle. The Predator Chromiums are a complete kit that come with a full fused plug and play wiring harness with built in remote kit. They are also backed by our full lifetime warranty should anything go wrong. If you want to save some money and don't mind doing the wiring on your own, go the ebay route. If you want something that will seamlessly integrate with your stock setup without any hassles and the security of a trusted vendor and proven product, go with the Chromiums
