I have a set of the 'xenon' interior bulbs that I'm wanting to install in my '04 325i. The vanity mirrors for example were quite easy as they just pop out with a little pulling. The dome light however I'm having trouble with and I'm afraid I'm going to break it if I don't get some input on the *right* way to remove it.
you have to use a screwdriver and put it through the gap and pry it out basically.
the clips on the inside are near the insides of the reading light buttons.
The capless bulbs aren't brighter (roof lights and rear lights), but the rest (festoon type) appear a lot brighter. The light given is also crisp and white, as opposed to the standard, yellowy bulbs.
if you didn't already have your lights, i would've recommended LED interior lights.
that's what i'm using right now, and they're pretty bright.
i love the look.
but the interior xenon kits aren't bad either.
glad i could help.
