Any of you well versed with the SC kits on the market? I've been contemplating either SC or Turbo, and when diving into the SC info out that have narrowed it down to basically either AA or ESS. Both seem legit, but I've seen alot of bad stuff written about AA kits in that their AFRs runing to lean and blowing motors, but that also seems to be only on the non-M kits where people are having those troubles.
ESS seems to be the most legit, but also appear to be down on power in comparison.
Holler at me if you have any good feedback to share, and hallelujah holla back if you don't
I'm more interested in the AA s54 kits and the AFR issues, I know the non-M AA kits have given people fits, but everytime people post up threads they're getting deleted because they're a sponsor.
Hopefully this stays below the radar and people that know can comment.
the only thing I really know about AA negatively - poor customer service and that they fudge figures and they sub all their production to china, etc
I have their Gen 6 muffler on the wagon - and I sought their TS system back in the day and I am really glad I went with ESS - I would strongly urge to to go ESS for the customer support, real numbers, etc
There was a guy who opened a thread yesterday asking about why his AFR couldn't get straightened out by AA and it was removed in like 15 minutes. It's crazy how sponsors can get negative threads deleted when they aren't even malicious, the poor guy's motor blew and now on his new motor it's the same situation, about to blow.
Anton you should go for removing weight and adding bolt ons. SC seems like overkill and overmaintenance.
