I have a 04 325Ci without the sport package and I would like to have the clear turn signal look. Is it possible or has anyone tried "clearing" their orange turn signals in the headlights? What about the tail lights?
I was able to do it in my old car, an 01 Acura CL Type-S, but heating and removing the orange, plastic film.
He has a FACELIFTED COUPE!
Unfortunately for facelifted coupes you will need to buy the whole headlight assembly to get the corners without the amber since the corners are integrated to the headlamps.
As far as I know, there are no such thing as aftermarket headlight/corner kits and rear tails for the FACELIFTED coupes.
If your turn signals are anything like an 03 325i, I higly recommend not baking them. I don't think you can get it hot enough to separate the lens w/o warping it.
I had a cracked turn signal that I had replaced and kept the cracked one for some reason. I decided to experiment on opening it up.
I put it in the oven at 350. I constantly checked it to ensure it wasn't warping. At ten minutes I pulled it out to see if I could separate the clear lens. No Luck! I put it back in the oven for another 2 minutes and opened the oven. The outside edges were cooked and the center where the bulb goes was sagged in. Anyway, it's a loss at this point.
I took a heat gun and separated the lens to see how the turn signal housing was made up. The amber lens is very thick and just snaps in to the black molding. I took some pictures for anyone who may be interested.
It would be nice if you could easily disassemble it and just remove the amber lens and have clear corners.
If you were skilled with a Dremel you could probably do it and use a really strong and water resistant adhesive to put it back together.
Here's one we did for a Scion tC -
Click on the image for a full size. The actual reflector was orange, we sprayed it black. In the sun, you can faintly see the orange, and when the light hits it you can see it as well.
I once did the tint mod to my REAR leds backj in the day when those were orange. Cound just barely see the orange in the right light. Onlu thing I'm additionally worried about is how visible the blinker will be. The rears weren't so much a problem b/c there are so many LEDs to be seen. Up front, howerever I have just single cluster of like 15 LEDs. Hmm...
I'm sorry, did I claim that you or anyone else didn't have expertise? I don't recall anyone telling how the procedure was done prior to my posting, so I did an experiment and posted the results.

I've just purchased an 04 325Ci Vert, and love everything about the car except those UGLY amber corners..So I've been doing the search routine, and discovered this year and a half old thread.
Seems like there are (were) 3 options for a car like mine looking for clear corners
1) Take out the headlamps, bake them until the glue softens and paint the reflectors
Just wondering if there are any other choices since the last post in this thread
Thanks
