my 325ci Remote key fob's buttons do not respond, always end up manually unlocking the car. Never heard the car alarm. What would be the possible cause? Any checklist i can go through to figure out if it's the remote or the actual alarm system? I recently checked the remote with the RF system in the nearest Advance Auto Parts and the lights blink when i press the lock/unlock button. So seems like the battery works. what now?:eeps:
Might just have to program the keyfob plenty of vids on YouTube showing how to do this and about the alarm actually going off if your alarm isn't activated by the dealer the easiest way I can say if it's activated or not is if the clown nose is on/off if it is off then you have to get it activated, the dealer can do it for you at a premium but some members have the tools to do this and will be willing to help you, post the question in your regional section and someone might answer
