black e46 with gold rims?

hello everyone...
i have decided to paint my rims gold (rims are DPE s16) but just cant decide if i should leave the lip or paint the entire rim....Does anyone have any pics of a black e46 with gold rims??Any opinions?? Here are some pics of my car below

I appreciate any answers/suggestions! :)

Leave lips polished. And while your at it get your car detailed too haha

if u go spray bomb route.....(ie cheap out :D ) ....make sure you use at least a skim-coat of an ACID-ETCH PRIMER to grab hold of the sand-papered metal wheel surface & bonds well to the subsequently-applied paint..or they'll be a chipping-&-a-peeling.... especially at the high-powered spray & wash.

I'd powder coat.

EDIT: not knocking the GOLD,...but I wonder what a nice high-glossed brushed silver would look like.....too much silver, w/the outer lips??.....anyway.....just a thought....
