Honestly did a search and did not find anything useful exept some of smg owners have had qlutch problems.

How does the smg tranny handel SK1 kit comparing to manual and auto?? do I need and can I upgrade a stronger qlutch??

Thanks
Rainer

SSG is the same as SMG I, SMG II is on the m3

you can downshift and upshift with both the left and right paddle

little less hardcore than the M3 SMG
I believe someone mentioned in this or other thread you started.

SSG has nothing to do with the SMG I, II and III lineup. SMG I was first introduced in E36 M3 Evo. SMG II in E46 M3. SMG III in E60 M5, E63 M6.

SSG is made by Magneti-Marelli and was instroduced in non-M E46s around 2002 in Europe and around the world except US.

this issue is something that was bothering me for quiet a while, but after getting my car back from the dealer I was so happy that didn't give a dam about slipping (actually for some reason it there was no slipping for a couple of days)
letting of the gas does help, but waiting for the clutch to lock up is annoying.
