Tire pressure for 05 330i zhp ? HELP

I have conti 255/35zr 18 tires the tire pressure on the car says 46 front and 49 rear is that correct for this style tire?

This is what I see in my 2003 owners manual:

Tire size: normal / Max load
Front-225/40 ZR 18 32 / 39
Rear -255/35 ZR 18 38 / 46

Looks like you can download the 2005 330i owners manual from BMW USA:

It lists slightly different pressures and includes pressures for speeds > 100 MPH

Also if your tires are SL (standard Load) or XL (extra load) will effect the max load tire pressure the tire supports. (not the max inflation pressure on the side of the tire)

I think you're looking at maximum values for inflation. I would stick with the values outlined in the manual and adjust accordingly using the chalk method for track days.

tire pressure from BMW is known to be listed as higher than most use.
