It's one thing to be stupid enough to drive like that. It's another thing entirely to be ignorant enough to let it get out on the intrawebs for God and all the angels to see. Whaddatool!
I think the video is fake. The steering input and the car movement doesn't match up. And if you look at when he got out of the car, the whole terrain shifted while the car is still...
I think this is totally a rich kid who staged this. Look at how he's turning his hands and the wheel through all those turns, and then, right on the turn where he goes off the road and crashes into the rocks, he doesn't even move the wheel, it's almost like he is steering into the rocks. STAGED.
A unique example of why BMW is not for children who have JUST finished college.
Get a 2 cylinder Ford for your next car dude. You need more training. :thumbdwn:
A two cylinder is not necessarily a slower or safer car to drive. My 20 year old, 4 cylinder, FORD ranger puts down more HP then the E46 M3. Smaller engine is not always better, just makes them easier to turbo.
Really? You don't understand? The guy just went through a traumatizing experience, he knows his car is ****ed but is unsure of the following...how it's ****ed, where, how much, what am I going to say to the insurance company, am I alright...just a gang of things running though his head...OM MY GAWD sounds like the most logical thing to scream out at that point.
And after carefully reviewing this video countless times, there was absolutely no hope for that poor car. The vehicle was airborne (minimal) just enough for no clearance before the rocks. Just a bad day, for a guy who will never ever fly like that on a hill like road again.
I totally agree with you. First and foremost, this kid was too young and therefore too inexperienced of a driver to drive at those speeds.
