Ranger 5000 Cable Descrambler

Brand new in box with remote and instruction manual. Didn't work in my area so I have to sell... Paid $100. Sell for $100 shipped to US... Analog cable only. No digital... works with 95% of the US except where I live. Just my luck

It's a legal product to have but you need to inform the cable company that you have it... wink wink

1) Would it work with Adelphia?

2) Would the descrambler require a card? If so, wouldn't the card be zapped every other week?

1) I have Cox and it doesn't work for me... My buddy in the next city has Adelphia and it works for him... Adelphia is country-wide so not sure if it works in every market.

2) No card needed... Just plug and play...
