Willowsprings Raceway
What's the deal with racing at Willowsprings? can i just go there and go through all the safety stuff, and start racing, or are there specific days open to the public?
and also, what are the procedures i have to go through to take my daily driver and race with it? you can tell i've never been to a track before...and i want to do this soon

If racing, then you will need a license and see which class you want to run in. Check SCCA, BMW CCA, NASA or TCRA. You have to go through a program before getting the race license. They have specific race days. Just visit the various websites and they have a race schedule for next year.
Otherwise, I am not aware of an event where you can race in your daily driver at Big Willow or any track.

You can go to the Streets of Willow and run your street car but only in Timed Trials. You can not run in door-to-door events until you are licensed. Porsche Owners Club (POC) is out there all the time and I believe they have an event next weekend out there. They will always let you run in an exhibition class but you will need to run with an instructor in your car with you. Check with Bill Bodine at the POC website.

I dont think he means actual d2d racing, just DE's/track days. Check with your local BMWCCA or PCA chapter.
