What have haters done to your BMW??

Seems regardless where I park, someone will park their SUV\pickup or POS next to you... door dings guaranteed..even if you park 1 mile away from them... Is there some "fascination" of parking next to a BMW or damaging it??

http://www.tuningemotion.com/forum/s...5&page=1&pp=10

Heard of fellow BMW's have their MTech lights cut and stolen, 5th set of valve caps, 5 sets roundels, dents on roof, scrapes, loose wheel nuts, and all have taken care not to park in non lit areas... List your hater list of annoyances..

You don't want to get me started. I two new dings already in the past 2 months. Pisses me off. I try and always park so that one side of the car is next to the curb so I miniize my risk. I even park far away from cars and just like you said, when I come out some idiot is parked right next to me with a million open spaces. What can you do? I read that post about the fogs. My last car had 3 sets of fog lights stolen. I got a grill to go over them and never had a problem after that. Some people just have no respect for other peoples property. Oh well, I guess that why they Dent Removal companies. Just hate spending $50-100 for some idiot who just doesn't care.

Over the course of 6.5 years my car has accumulated 2 nearly invisible door dings, and my roundel valve caps were stolen one time.

Don't think it was "haters". Getting dings is inevitable if you drive your car and the roundel valve caps are nice little curiosities.

This is one of the benefits of living in a nice suburb of L.A. An E46 is nothing, and most people have new cars anyways and don't want their cars scratched. I I have had my car for 2 years and (knock on wood) never had a door ding or anything. The first 3 months I had my Ram it got dinged to hell.

So far the only problem I have is during Halloween as my car seems to always get egged.

Last week after having my car for 8 months now I saw a quarter sized dent on the left side next to my hood. It looks like someone just put their elbow straight down on my car. So pissed. I know door dings are inevitable but this looks completely on purpose. Just like a couple of the previous comments I also get way more compliments than haters.

my '95 318i (sold) got egged -about 3 times-... one time COVERED with eggs which caused the windshield to cracked and it chipped paint marks all over... and also keyed

my '99 323i (sold) would have gotten paintballed (i used to be parked outside while my parents 530i '05 was in the garage) but i my car was with me at my girlfriends, so they decided to paintball my parent's explorer (parked outside)

and my '02 330i.. nothing! surprisingly.. its ALWAYS garaged and no more haters (i hope) since im not in highschool anymore.

Parked overnight behind a friend's house while attending a (large) party at said house. Woke up in the morning to discover that someone had thrown up all over my hood. I'll bet that was good for the clear coat.

My e30 was victim of a hit and run at a hospital parking lot. Also has 5 or so door dings.

My e46 was egged on Halloween, no other car in the entire apt. complex was egged besides mine! Scratched the trunk lid...$150 to have repainted!

Other than that just my sister's cat hating...ALWAYS walks all over my car JUST AFTER i wash it!!

My E36 was keyed once. After I put 5% tint nobody messed with it. My E46 was keyed on the hood when the previous owner had it. I was thinking of going 5% on this one too. People don't mess with your car if they can't tell if anyone is inside.

Bunch of door dings-

Egged once, hard as **** to take off and it removed that paint where it hit

Valet keeps changing my radio stations

Nefew broke sunroof shade by trying to open it with the shade closed so he says.

Beer bottle ring from some guy who thought it would be relaxing to lean up against my car talking on his cell and put his beer on the trunk, last time he'll ever try that one....

under carriage scraped badly from valet driving too damn fast over speed bumps.

Ohh and wife parked over those concrete blocks in the parking stalls, then backed out and the front bumper got caught on the top pulling the bumper out.

No tellin whats next....
