Results of P21S Finish Restorer and Poorboys Wheel Sealant
I received my P21S Finish Restorer and Poorboys Wheel Sealant from Greg and George over at Detailed Image. I'm very happy with the service, but a little disappointed with the product.
![]() I was unsuccessful in removing this stain ![]() The Finish Restorer was very effective at removing tar and other debris, but the wheels still have a ton of little scratches. ![]() ![]() ![]() I am hoping to get some feedback on a better method or something different I can try. Thanks. |

REchrome, and get wheels without rivets because from the looks of that "stain" you don't maintain them often enough to handle them. What you see is water stains from **** that dripped out after you washing your car / drying it and parking it. you never came back out to get the new drips...

Chilenko, from your post on the Wheel Help thread this is what you mentioned.

Once again we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, it just sounds like there was a little miscommunication. How did the rest of the products work out for you? Let us know if there's anything else we can do, maybe some other can chime in with the scratches on the chrome wheels. Sincerely, George @ DI

Rut ro... well it did what you said it would anyways Honestly, I never really noticed those damn scratches until I started working closely and applying the polish... so for some reason I was just thinking that a "polish" would clean it up. Well I guess I will have to find another part of my car to be OCD about and do my best to eliminate the vision of tiny scratches in my head |

Did you keep these chrome wheels on during the winter? As you know salt, sand will do damage to chrome. I think that if you want the wheels to be perfect you can either re-chrome the wheels or have them re-done with another finish that requires less effort to keep up. Here is a link to a place that does a good job fixing wheels:
http://www.fixrim.com/ I agree with PYRITE, you need to dry your wheels again after park the car after washing. Your wheels have a lot areas where water can sit and cause water stains. I use an air compressor to blow all the extra water off of my wheels but if you don't have one try a leaf blower. |
