Finish installing BIXENON retrofit......

I finally got around to swapping out my halogen to BIXENON, took about 2 hours because I lack some tools. Anyway, after finish installing it, drove around but my lights did not flicker (Mine is a 02 330i) like what everyone said....also my highbeam halogen still work????? I thought they weren't suppose to work anymore???? I also notice that the bixenon set I got, the interior behind the glass was VERY DUSTY.... suspect they may had swapped out the casing. *I got the set off ebay* Can I swap out my old headlight case? My original ones are in way better condition plus have metal inserts while these don't .... Also notice that my driver side head light now does not sit flush with the hood, it's a little inner, but my passenger side is fine. The problems are minor but just irratting .....
