LED Reverse light options / bulbs.

I know there are a ton of options out there. I already am decided on license plate bulbs, so Just want my reverse lights to match in terms of color and brightness. These are what I'm using for plate:
High powered LED festoon 3 LED bulbs

SO for reverse lights, I guess these are the correct size?
Back up light
7506

Looking those bulbs up I found a lot of options, would any of these work well?
super white LEDs

-What about these, they are half the price smaller in size. They should be bright enough though for reversing?

Not sure if I'm answering my own question here, but doing research cross referencing, it appears that the 7506 size, can be cross referenced to work with size 1156. So if thats the case I should be able to use any of these for my reverse lights right? Any one use any of these bulbs that can comment on brightness/quality, any pics?

-1156-x12 LED bulbs
-1156-x19 LED bulbs
-1156-x24 LED bulbs
-1156-x30 LED bulbs

The 1156 x 30 are only 8.99/ea I wonder if they would fit ok, and look good?

yes any of them will work, and will match in color. it's going to be brighter than your license plate lights lol. but dimmer than your current halogen setups

just for reference the 30s are over sized and a little too big, so go with 24's if ordering.

if the reverse bulb is bad, or in this case, a LED, will it throw a code on the dash?

Yes it will, reverse bulbs also do not require resistors.

Yes it will throw a code if bad, but won't throw a code with LED reverse lights?

Here is my experience with reverse lights LEDs :

The first time, i bought the popular 24LED 1156s 180] pins, and the color was blueish, nice, but they were useless. The light didn't even reach the ground, i could only see them when my bumper was about 5in from the wall. But i could not get back to the standard halogens as i had LED tail lights and license plate lights. I continued seraching and find bulbs at autolumination.com, white leds, rated as "the best backup bulbs ever" .... And they were !! The reverse lights now look as if they had xenons in them, very wide angle, and they light far behind the car. Last week i was parking my car and the girl in the car behind me came to tell "You're blinding me with your reverse lights, what the hell are those ?"
i'm very happy with them, look very nice and no compromise on night vision !!

did you buy the exact same brand/link I posted from when you had 24LED 1156's? They are so cheap I want to try them first.

No, mine were 24 led bulbs, tehj old ones. Like the ones in the links you posted, they had forward facing and a few side facing leds, but no SMT and no high powered leds. Be careful/aware of the dimensions also, the 63led bulb you posted seem to be too big/long to fit in the reverse light housing, but i may be wrong.

sorry, my mistake

The link : http://autolumination.com/1156_1157.htm

The product : Wide-Angle 180 degrees High-Powered 5 Watt Led + 4x super-powered SMT Leds
The most powerful led tail- reverse / back up light bulb ever made---1-3/4"" x 15/16" diameter
Note: 1157 version operates the 5 Watt led in bright mode (ie: brakes and turn signals) and the 4x SMT leds for dim mode (running lights).

These are the ones i have installed, but since then i see new products on the page, more brightness and more power

Hope it helps
