Does FI need different spark plugs?
I was wondering on a FI system does it need different temp range spark plugs? With the extra air/fuel I would think the cylinder would be hotter. I haven't seen it posted, so I guess not. But if so, is there a preferred plug for FI engines?

It'll depend on the particular setup, but yes new plugs are probably going to be a good idea. Might be a heat range or two colder, might be gapped smaller. Check with the manufacturer of the kit you're looking at (many will come with plugs already)

for any fi setup i would run colder plugs....even on a race na motor we use colder plugs. it helps resist detonation when boosted, and yes, chamber temps are obviously warmer fi than na.

ive had good luck with NGK Iridium spark plugs....i used to use the cheapest copper cored ngks and bosch supers cause they were cheap, but they kept being blown out at boost pressures higher than 8psi (and they were gapped pretty close), the Iridiums tend to hold their spark under higher intake turbulences. they say for every 75-100hp over stock you take one step colder on the plugs.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll check with the maker of the kit and see if they suggest a certain plug and temp.
