brake pad recommendations

hi, its time for me to change my pads again. Do u guys have any recommendations on what brand would be good? or is stock the best? I have a facelift 325i. TIA

nm i did a search...results turned up to eitehr akebono or hawks.....

Personally, I think stock pads are best unless your goal is to reduce dust (usually at the expense of initial bite).

OEM pads are great, but the dust sucks. I'm almost due for new brakes and I'm going to get some of the Akebono Euro Ceramics from Tire Rack. I've heard nothing but great reviews on them.

I installed the Akebono Euro Ceramic pads a few months ago and I absolutely love them. The bite is about the same as OEM but there's absolutely no brake dust! I went a month without washing my car and the front wheels still looked like they were new. I HIGHLY recommend them.

thanks guys, im going to try a pair of akebonos...from the reviews on this forum it sounds great. I absolutely hate washing the brake dust. Thanks again!
