DIY FOOD THREAD... 1 POUND COWBOY RIBEYE... Lemme see yaaaaa!!!!
Well here is my contribution to the DIY food threads..
On the menu we have a beautiful 1 pound ribeye, bone-in, aka cowboy ribeye.. along with some lame broccoli and corn.... Here is the main event, in its untouched state, ready to be babied.. Let sit out for 10-15 minutes.. ![]() Of course each meal prep needs a beverage.. Strongbow FTW on this night ![]() The steaks best friends, you should get to know them as well.. EVOO on first.. ![]() All oiled up and seasoned.. He's ready for war.. ![]() First touch.. ![]() First flip.. total cook time 11 minutes.. ![]() ![]() Quasi scenester coming over tonight.. .. Hopefully no wet dream..![]() Laid on his tin foil.. Ready for the resting fort to be built.. ![]() ![]() Resting fort in full effect.. I let it sit for 5 minutes this time ![]() The sides, quick, easy, perfect portion and decent.. ![]() The unveiling.. ![]() Plated.. ![]() Perfection.. ![]()

its pretty much letting the steak rest.. all the fibers and everything relax and the juices set in place.. so its a bit more tender, and juice doesnt cover the plate when you cut into it.. putting it in tinfoil keeps its temp relative

Looks great..I usually eat it med-well.
Letting the steak rest is crucial. And we need a ****ing food forum.
