best exhaust solution for a more aggressive sounding engine?
what's up people. I searched and couldn't really find anything that talked about this in particular...
I love the sound of the engine. I don't like exhausts that sound like fart cans. basically, I want the car to be louder and more powerful, but I want it to seem stock. stock cars have a balanced sound. I don't want my car to be unbalanced like a Honda Civic with some stupid exhaust. what would you recommend I do to get more free flowing exhaust, a beefier sounding engine, and decent power gains without sounding like an idiot? would headers be the best way to achieve this, since headers are directly connected to the engine?

I have always loved the throaty sound of an intake. Not only do they sound great, but they will also increase your miles per gallon. You really cannot go wrong with a K&N intake. As for exhaust, I would go with either a Remus or CROSS Sport exhaust. Here are a couple of sound clips to show you what I mean:
Remus CROSS K&N Intake Let me know if I can help you out with a quote for intake and exhaust

if you want something subtle, perhaps a dinan muffler would do you nicely

I've got a conforti intake, and that's kinda where the inspiration for this thread started. I want more of that sound... what sort of exhaust options would make that better?

If you don't have aftermarket headers, and you don't want to spend more than $150....get the "kpeng exhaust". Search and you shall find.
