installing 10w6 next weekend some advice

So im going to install my sub next weekend and I have the stock head unit, so I just tap into the locations given in bsw directions but since I'm using the JL 500/1 I dont need an LOC right?

So Should I cut the co axial cables and one end to splice them in?

I did a search but just want to make sure... that I really dont need a LOC and how to tap in other wise... thanks!

are there any other tutorials (other than bsw) on how to do this?
Thanks

No LOC required. Get a set of RCA wires, cut them and solder the ende to the oem amplifier inputs.
